I've owned it for almost 2yrs now and it’s been completely babied. Im an active BMW Car Club Of America member. I clay it every 4months, polish/sealglaze/swirlremove every 8months, and I usually end up waxing with multiple layers every 2-3wks. There are a few rock chips up front and scratches unfortuneately but it's nothing major. I guess it has to be expected from a 92k mile car that's lived its life in cities. The CosmosShwartz Metallic 303 paint has great depth, reflection, and after a good waxing gives a great ‘wet’ look. Ill let the pictures speak on that. There's only one other body flaw I can think of and that's the little tap I got at a stoplight that took a scratch of paint off my rear bumper. Her plate frame tapped into me and I got everything checked - there's no frame damage or anything. You can see it in the pictures if you really try - no one ever notices unless I point it out. The CarFax will show up clean- it has no crash, accident, or salvage issues. The interior is fantastic compared to other e36m3's I've been in and seen for its mileage. I've been treating the leather for the past 2years every 2 months with a cleaner/food that makes it more supple and rejuvenates it quite well and protects from future wear and sun damage. There is one rough spot the size of a silver dollar on the driver seat bolster, and honestly, nothing else. There are no cracks, scratches, abrasions, etc on the dash or center console whatsoever. The e36's little demon is normally electronics with either the OBC or climate control and in my 2yrs I haven't had a single problem, everything flawless. Recently however, the airbag sensor died on me. It's a $90 part that gets installed under the passenger seat that I can easily get for you in case we get to that point. The engine pulls very hard, and I detail the engine bay every 6months. Once you put your foot down, this thing slams your head into the headrest. Roughly 10k miles ago I replaced the rotors, pads, and sensors on the brakes. I changed to Brembo blanks and Axxis Ultimate pads which give great bite. They’re a street-performance pad that has a tendency to squeak from time to time with light application of the brakes. Once again, that doesn’t mean the pads are worn down – they still bite much better than the stock rotor/pad combination. I have an acquaintance that works in parts at the local BMW dealership and when I was last there for the BMW Synthetic Oil change I asked him to take a glance at everything to make sure I didn’t have any issues or parts that need replacing. He and the Dinan mechanic did a check of the car and came up with only one suggestion - I should replace the rear shocks soon. So I did. It's a commonly replaced part at the 80-90k mark along with the rear shock mounts. The rear shocks were replaced with OE BMW shocks that are amazingly stiff – the rear barely bounces even if you sit on the open trunk. The rear shock mounts were replaced with Ground Control’s version which is widely known as the best you can buy due to their materials and build quality. It was worth the extra money because a new bmw RSM would end up with the same problem down the road. Since ownership, I've never had the m3 fail on me or any sort of drivetrain issue. I have the oil done every 3-4k miles and it has worked great. There is a ticking in the engine though that's nothing really noticeable unless you open the hood and stand on the passenger side. The only things on the car now that separate it from a stock m3 4dr are the horns which I replaced for fun because the stock ones kept getting disconnected and the 35% tint to improve looks and protect the leather. 35% is the legal limit in MD, which I think give a great combination of looks and practicality. Mixed with the black/black combo on the car, it looks very stealth. Now, I did enhance the car by using BMW OE parts, such as replacing the wheels, but I'm not counting that as a modification because, as you see, I put on OEM BMW 'Lightweight' wheels which were a $1500 option back if you were buying the car. They're staggered for performance, polished for looks, and forged for strength. The fronts are near mint and the rear wheels have minor rash and some clearcoat wear - but nothing noticeable from 5ft away. I also put on better tires. They're ToyoT1-s's in the rear @ 245/40/17 and Kumho712s up front @ 235/40/17 - very sticky and have about 60-70% tread left. Unfortunately, ever since then, on some songs with high-pitched noises, there is a slight crackle from the passenger side door speaker at high volumes. As long as you're not blasting music - there's no way to really tell. Otherwise, the Harmon Kardon system works wonderfully with crisp sounds and a nice kick from the subwoofer. One more thing was added to the car – a BMW OE X-Brace. This is a stock feature on the m3 convertible that makes up for the structural deficiency that comes with taking off the roof. The X-Brace stiffens the front through cornering and protects the oil pan from getting damage from things like speed bumps. Between this, the new shocks, the lighter wheels, and the street performance tires – the handling is phenomenal. The battery was replaced with the larger BMW battery about 6k miles ago also. I’ve tried to keep any modifications and changes as classy and clean as I can and I believe I’ve accomplished that. I also have the BMW OE M3 sedan car cover that I highly suggest using if you don't have a garage that Ill be leaving in the trunk for the buyer. The car passed inspection directly before I purchased it and passed emissions roughly 4months afterwards. The pictures should speak for themselves.

I’ve tried hard to be as open, honest, and detailed as I can with my description of the car, but if you have any further questions, feel free to email me at spetsnazgi@hotmail.com but I ask that only serious buyers do so.

Bump for a nice car at a really nice price. I'd love to have this thing as a daily driver. Since I spend most of it in bumper-to-bumper traffic, an automatic would be ideal. Good luck with the sale.
