Does anyone have metal valve stems on their wheels? Do you know where to get them?

my ACS type II racing came with them. I don't if all wheels can accept them.

I have them on my gemballa's, but they also came like that from the store.

I did a little search and here what I found:

I don't know if they will work on your ride or not, but you can give it a shot.

My Hamanns came with really nice machined aluminum items, but they were ripped off by someone at the place that repaired my wheels  . After I got through venting on them big-time, they called Wheel Power and replaced them, but found that they don't make them in that style any more. So, I have four not-as-nice replacements that I am going to put in when I do the next tire change in a few months.

You could try www.wheelpower.com and they might set you up, or maybe even www.supremepowerparts.com. Eric usually can come up with prettymuch anything.

Hope that helps.

Dude you should have just called the cops. I am totally serious. Whoever stole those from you can be charged with vandalism and theft. I bet only you got on the horn with the local pd they would have coughed up those stems pretty quick anyway. I mean the cops are there to serve us anyway. I think that they should have to put in a little work to earn all the cash we pay out on tickets. :D

What I'd do now is filed a complaint with the better buisness bureau and actually I would go back to the wheel shop and see if any of the workers cars parked outside are sporting your stems. THEN if you find them fuck calling the cops find the guy make him give them back to you and then punch him in the face. (Aim for the nose its soft :) ) He won't be able to do anything about it now will he. lol I swear to god the rest of the day you'll be walking around with a smile on your face. I know I would.

Later,
Tom

Yeah, after the fact I realized that I should have called the police but really didn't want the scene...poor rationalization on my part.

I just count it as a lesson learned, and I have told lots of folks that use the wheel-repair business here about them so I know they have lost several accounts they had with dealers here in this area. Indirectly I have gotten to them a lot more than they got to me. The sad thing is that they do great work, and the price is right. Now if I curb a wheel (it's GONNA happen!!), I've got to go all the way to the other side of Dallas to Wheels America.

The new stems will look good, and they're genuine Hamann, but won't look as cool as the old ones. Oh well...
