FS/Trade: 1997 BMW 328iA $9100 in Aurora, IL
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well the time has come to sell my e36. This car has been babied since the day I got it, and will be sold completely stock. The car has never been tracked or abused and I have never had any problems with it. The only reason I'm selling is to upgrade to an M3 or modified 325/328. I may also consider a 540 or 528.
1997 BMW 328iA
wbacd4327vav46198
103,698 miles
$9100 OBO
Maintenance: Oil changes every 3,000 miles or less with Mobil 1 fully synthetic 10w-30, always run on either 91 or 93 octane (whichever the gas station has at the time)
In the past 6 months-
Complete coolant flush (bmw coolant only)
new belts (accessory included)
new thermostat
Metal thermostat housing
Bosch Platinum spark plugs
Ignition switch
Battery
Auto Climate Control Unit
History: The car was ordered by a woman who was a real estate agent in the Chicago suburbs. I have the original window sticker reading $38,520. It was ordered with electric sunroof, heated front seats, 18 button OBC, the Harmon Kardon sound system and dove grey leather. Of course being in the real estate business, she used the car to drive customers from house to house. This is where most of the mileage came from. She only had the car serviced at BMW, including oil changes and preventative maintenance. She then traded the car in to Bill Jacobs BMW of Naperville. This is where I bought the car in May 2004. I bought it with 96,672 miles. I don't have an updated Carfax report since I bought the car, but it will be completley clean. It had a clean Carfax when I bought it, and the car has not been involved in any accidents. No reported accidents or issues, just a clean car. The VIN number is wbacd4327vav46198. The mileage is now 103,698. It has been my daily driver for the past 2 years and never let me down.
Condition: The car is in great condition, the interior and exterior. There is one dent on the rear left quarter panel. It is not noticeable at all unless your looking for it. It could be pulled easily and the paint is not scratched. The interior is also very clean. The front seats show very little wear. The car comes with both OEM floor mats and OEM winter/waterproof mats. The trunk is also clean, and the spare tire is still there. Right now the car has a pioneer in das CD unit but I will put the stock head unit and changer back in ASAP. It has 15" wheels, but they are not OEM. I planned to use them as winter wheels, but they looked better than the stockers, so I kept them on. The headlight bulbs and foglight bulbs have also been changed to Sylvania Silverstars which are a lot brighter than stock but not up to HID standards.
I know these pictures don't show much, I will get some new ones up ASAP. I just have to find my digi camera. Oh and I have the title in hand, so no issues there.
