View Full Version : clutch has no pressure??

i just pull out the trans (5spd) and after i put it back in i pressed the clutch petal in and its like there is nothing there. there is no force pushing back, it just sits on the floor. whats rong??
is there a way that you can put the slave silinder in wrong?
please help

i didnt not open up any lines so i dnot think there is any air in it.

Did you check that you have pressure at the clutch fork? Maybe the fork slipped of the pivot inside the housing?
Did you re-bled the slave cylinder, to test operation ? I'd try that to ensure that you know the state of the slave cylinder before going to much further.

i just bled it and it works great.
but if i never opend up the line how would it get air in it?

make sure the fluid is topped up and start pumping the clutch peddle for 3 to 5 minutes (boring). This is assuming the fork is properly set and it is bled.
