t is time for new rubber on my rear wheels. I have the staggered setup on my car. I would like to get a complete set of S03s or MXs, but my front tires still have plenty of tread life left in them. I'll probably get a complete set of tires the next time around. Anyways, back to my question. Currently, I have the Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712s in the 245/40/17 size. The section width of this size is 9.8" according to tirerack. Since my car isn't lowered, I'm thinking about getting the same tires in the 255/40/17 size. The section width for this size is 10.2". I want to know if there is going to be any rubbing and/or other problems with this setup. Also, when I get new front tires a long time from now, would putting a 235/40/17 be okay? Any help would be apreciated. Thanks.
