Thought about putting this in WTB, but decided I need advice first.
Hey all- replacing my entire exhaust from the manifold back. I have purchased an aftermarket OEM cat section (Exact match as stock just not stealer price) and I have an E36 M3 muffler section. My entire hanging system is shot. (rusty, crusty, etc.) Also, my heat shield is torn and loose all over. So, here's what I need:

All the bolts for the flanges
Gaskets for flanges?
Every piece used to hang exhaust (sedan)
New heatshield, with new mounting bolts

Anyone know a good place to buy everything I need easily and for a good price? Trying to stay away from the dealer if possible. Any other advice? Thanks

Try BavAuto. I got all my stuff from there and they were very helpful too

Go to realoem.com.
-> Look up part #'s, and write down
Go to pelicanparts.com
-> Put part #'s in, buy parts!

They are pretty well priced, its where I get most of my stuff simply becuase their service is great. Good luck.

Another place. www.speedycarparts.com (http://www.speedycarparts.com). They have kits for gaskets, hangers, etc.

Thanks for all the tips everyone. I will probably do the real oem thing for part numbers, then check out pelican and a couple others.
One more question: I was wondering if it is better to leave mufflers as they are or to paint it black with some high temp rust oleum spray paint? Anyone done this?

If it is stock, and not stainless steel, then I would paint it. It will flake off anyway.

for the parts, try autohausaz.com. they have the 2 hangers, 2 lower brackets, 2 upper brackets for about 1-2$ more than pelicanparts.com, but since you're buying other stuff, check both sites because i'm sure autohaus will have cheaper prices on the other stuff
