I just purchased a 94 325is that has new Sumitomo 245-40Z R17s on the rear. Looks like the wheels are from an M3. I get some intermittent rubbing noise (like the tire hitting the wheel well) when I torque around corners and hit even a little bump.
Are these tires too big?

Which rims? What is your suspension set up? Is the car lowered?

The setup is fine, but fenders need to be rolled.

I don't know the history, nut experienced enough to figure it out. It is not lowered by my measurements. Shocks are Boge Turbo 27-260 F. Would they be stock? Original?

Is this major body work?

Not at all...

You basically take the lip of your wheel fender, and roll it upwards so it doesn't contact the wheel.

Body shops will do it for about $100-$300 at all 4 corners.

Make sure a heat gun is used so the paint doesn't crack.
