I'd recommend that you try to see if you can try to pick up a used Dinan chip on ebay or in our Bimmer Classifieds if you can first. That would probably be best.
Otherwise, yea look into J.C. and you might as well do an intake upgrade while you're at it.
BTW.: I say J.C. simply because of my experience. Very happy ; )

I say who cares, there's barely a difference between all the chips. All of them will be a great buy.

I personally dont like the turner chips. Mine made my car run way too rich, not much of a performance diffrence at all, at stop lights with a window down I can smell unburnt gas and hot gasses. Probably also not too good for the cats... I have put in a stock chip and my car doesnt smell at all. MPG went up, and the performance wise feels the same. Getting a Schatz and Krum chip. Bav. auto would be my second choice.

Most of the Dinan chips on ebay are knock offs of the real thing (hence the low price, but they still give the same gains). I'd say they are the best for the price but if you want to pay a little more the TMS/JC chip seemed to feel best on my 325is... I've had the Dinan knockoff and the TMS.
I'd recommend that you try to see if you can try to pick up a used Dinan chip on ebay or in our Bimmer Classifieds if you can first. That would probably be best.

I read a write-up in another forum. Someone installed a Conforti chip and then a Dinan chip into his car. He then did a few laps at a local race track to see if there was any difference. According to his short test, the Dinan chip really didn't do anything at low rpms, but was better at the high rpms. The Conforti chip seem to do well over a larger rpm range, but didn't give the kick at the high end.

Haven't read the whole thread, but, in case anyone doesn't know, the Turner chip IS a Conforti chip.
