I pick up my beemer from the auto body shop!!!:buttrock
she has her trunk and door and all 4 of those ugly grey skirts painted as well as an entire buff!!!

I cannot wait to get her!!!!!!!!!!! here's how she looked before all the work:

i know how that feels, just today i took my car in for a tranny fluid n filter change, and got the power steering hose leak fixed..... man i was so ADD for the 4 hours i didnt have it :stickoutt

I thought our tranny's have lifetime (500,000 mile) fluid in them and never have to be changed, at least untill the tranny goes to shit anyway :dunno But I also had a power steering hose leak, turns out it was simply a broken hose clamp, replaced it and its as good as new ;)

Good luck with the painting Beck, she will look sooooo much better, you won't recognize her :alright

On topic: Being away from your baby is brutal, but having something wrong is even worse. If there's something wrong with my car I'm cranky and depressed until I fix it.

Threadjacking: That tranny fluid may be listed as "lifetime" but that, in my experience, is bunk. I got my car with 93K miles, and it was shifting a little jerky. Changed tranny fluid and the filter and it got much better. The fluid that came out was black and nastified.

And painting the grey plastic is an excellent idea. Night and day difference in looks. Much much cleaner.
