Hello,
I was looking into getting 17inch rims but first i think i should lower my car so i dont get the werid look of being jacked up...

I was looking at doing the H&R sports (1.5F, 1.0R) springs. Is this a good drop and are these good quality and ride good?? I DONT wanna kill my ride obviously (are these better then Eibach?)...

Also do i need aftermaket shocks? if so blistien(might be spelled wrong) seems to be what everyone is using, would this make a good combo... but which ones??

i searched but didn't see the answer i wanted, i just wanted some opinions saying if this is good and whatis?, if not...

thanks

Its def. a good idea. The lowered suspension is going to increase the stress on the stock shock and struts. A popular combo is H&R Sports and Billstein sport shock/struts. Thats my setup and its very firm but not harsh.

IMO, it's retarded to do one without the other. If you're just doing springs, you're just doing it for the look. You might as well just take the springs out, put a saw to it, and put it back.

You don't have to, but the life of your shocks.. will basically be destroyed. They will wear out very fast with aftermarket springs, so you might as well just get new shocks. It only makes sense..

H&R sports will probably a good choice, but if you want it to be lower, opt for the Race springs. and if you got the cash, go for coilovers, H&R, Ground control, and the Bilstein Pss9 are among the top choices. -good luck

shocks are in the back and struts are in front.

the difference is how they are mounted and the forces they see.

Yes you should do them.
