<hr style="" size="1"> <!-- / icon and title --> <!-- message --> I was recently quoted a mindboggling $1600 for a sunroof cassette for my 1994 325i. Apparently they tell me that the sunroof is worn out and that it costs that much for a new part.

I'm wondering where I can find one of these for cheaper. I believe that they go for around $250 if they are from a salvage parts dealer...

I called one of these salvage parts dealers and was told that they don't ship these as they are prone to break...which I tended to doubt.

Can anyone help me more on this issue?

Thanks much,
David

Contact: Bill, that's his member name on here. He's a supporting vendor (Motorsport Recycling) and if i remember correctly, he had some sunroofs laying around when i was at the shop last weekend.

I've got one from a 97 M3 Sedan - complete with Cosmos Black metal roof panel $300 shipped anywhere in the US. I also have the black headliner and pillar covers too. I'll throw it all in. I need the space.

FYI, when you order one, it comes in a huge plywood crate.
