Can anybody tell me an approximated guess of how much hp/tq I am puttin down with my 96 328is. I have a K&N CAI and a Tri-Flo catback exhaust so far. I want to strap it on a dyno but here in Cleveand there arne't many places to dyno a car.

Thanks,
Ricky

Cat-back dont reallly add power. Well maybe 1 pony lol. Do the manifold for more gains.

It okay man people still get suprised how quick the car is with that low of hp and tq. Many people with different cars that produce over 200hp get impressed.

You probably didn't do anything, except let more shit into the engine with the intake, and made the car louder. In ricer speak, you gained 175 hp.

Damn man maybe you should look into civics.

those are at the crank numbers... at the wheels you probably have around 170hp stock, so with intake and exhaust, you have no more than 180hp, probably closer to 175.
oh and nothing to be ashamed of, they're pretty fast cars stock, and once you start doing bigger stuff like manifold, software etc.. you'll notice much more gains.
btw... does anyone know what stock 328s dyno? i know it's around 170 but proof would be great, not just estimates like mine.

my car is anything but ricey....i can say that much.

No dude, i know. Just don't be in the ricer mode, doing a bolt on and asking for the power gains. You really won't gain much. It is just the displacement is low, the parts are cost effective, so you are really not getting the best money can buy. Just relax, you car is fast for what it is.
