E36 1996 328i OEM CD Changer compatible with other BMW models?

Hey guys. I had a quick question. I am trying to sell my OEM 6 CD changer out of my 1996 328i and I was wondering if it fits any other models? Would it fit into a 2000 528i? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

It should hook up to any e36 with the cd ready stock player, don't know about the 5 series, but my guess would be yes.
