hey, theres a first for everything right?
so a 1994 325is is not a v6 either right?

None of the BMW 6-cylinders were v6. ALL of them are inline 6.
Only the 8s (540/740/840) are V configuration.
Easy mistake if you're new to Bimmers.

Up until not too long ago, one of my friends who is a mustang snob thought all 3 series were FWD and at one point he even thought the rear brakes were drums. He helped me do the major parts of my swap since he is very mechanically inclined, and quickly learned otherwise. :D

Didn't volkswagen inherit that W design from Bugatti when they bought them out? Over 1000 whp doesn't make that sound like such a bad engine.
Inlines definately have the advantage over V, it's only a matter of time before automanufacturers start producing more I5's for the american market... it is an ideal size for great fuel mileage and decent performance.
