318 Header on Ebay

Does anybody have any experiance with the header that is being sold on Ebay for the 318? Looks like a supersprint copy, and for only $200 it might be worth it to try out.

There are three companies selling them, but they look to be all the same thing

Yup I think bigbore is right. Its the sad truth with BMW's but unless your paying out the ass for it and getting ripped off, its probably no good.

I might disagree. It cetainly wouldn't be very difficult to make up a template using the supersprint headers as the original. I'm sure the quality might not be as high, but unless welds are cracking or there are fitment issues, for $200 I think it would be worth a shot.

That was my point, it's only $200.

There was a thread recently about an exhaust being sold on ebay for the M3 that is a supersprint knockoff. The person installing it didn't have any real complaints.

You might have to do some filing or fitting, but I've seen that on high dollar stuff. Could be a good buy. How is the seller's feedback? What are some of the complaints?

All three sellars have positive feedback, just looking through the feedbacks I have seen that they have sold headers for other cars also.

when i said " waste of money" I meant you will get minimal gains if any from a Header.

aparantly the stock pipes are Very good it's the cat & muffler(s) that bottleneck performance
