I noted your ad in the forum. I'm obviously not in the new england area but I can share general info with you. I have a 2001 740i sport model that just turned 64,000 miles this past week. It has a BMW CPO warranty to August 06 or 100,000 miles and has always been serviced at the local BMW dealer, Checkered Flag. It has Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires installes at 55,000 miles. New full brakes at about same time. These were 1200$ and 1000$ respectively. Also 60,000 service for 700$ done. It has new engine belts and hoses. It is silver with gray interior. Usual 740 standard equipment such as navigation. I have not entered a picture yet but it can be seen on line at Autotrader.com pulling up BMW 740 ads and has my same name and address as the Bimmerforum ad just placed yesterday. I give this info more as a reference point in your search regarding milage,service and price. It is a wonderful car especially in the Sport configuration. I am a physician and have started to partially retire so I have reluctantly decided to sell my car well before the warranty had run out.
