Its a 1995 M3 with a 3.2 obd1 engine with 52k on the new engine which came off 99 m3( have all the paperwork). The car has the following mods

*Fan delete
*brand new magnolia exhaust
*Light weight flywheel
*UUC Short shifter
*Crossed drilled rotors
*OBD1 conversion
*Eclipse MP3 player
*New tires

new belts
new termostat
new fornt rotors

The car runs and drives perfectly and it has a clear tittle. The car has never been tracked or raced, but it is very, very fast. The car has about 109k original miles. The front bumper has a few rock chips. The interior is in near mint condition. A/C blows very cold air.
asking price 16k and he is pretty firm.

The motor pictured seems to be an S50. Did you just use the S52 bottom end or what? Or is it an old picture?

The location of the oil fill cap does NOT determine beyond a doubt what kind of motor this is, especially on OBD1/OBD2 conversions - often partial motors will be used, and it is common for these pieces to come from the 3.0L or for 3.0L's to have 3.2L parts on them. I have the paperwork for the 99 engine that is in the car right now. I can fax them to who ever that is interested in the car.

power stats... HP/TQ #'s
not to bust your chops, but I know for me, anytime I see or hear about a car with FI, the first thing that comes to mind is "what kind of power (HP/TQ) does the car make?" which makes logical sense to me, and I hope to others as well. Hence, I would assume that when people post FI cars for sale, that they included HP/TQ #'s as a required item in the ad.
But then again, that's how I roll ;)
good luck with the sale....

where is it located? in seattle?

The car is located in seattle. We never put the car on a dyno. Right now he is running 6 psi( the stock pulley), and it has exhaust, headers, 993TT HFM. I have seen cars with the same setup making 300whp. U could always get a smaller pulley and raise the boost with no worries, since the car is intercooled. My friend never did it, since he only drives the car on street and 300whp is enough for him.

He doesn`t know much about cars. I bought him the car ( I picked it, he paid :stickoutt )and now I am selling it for him. Anyways, If I was going to buy it, I would have spend some money in the suspension. The car has the stock shocks and springs. The stock suspension is really nice and smoth but it is too soft for the power that car is making. The Front windshild needs to be replaced, which is not a big deal, we might fix it befor selling it. Other than that, there aren`t any problem that I know of. Any body is wellcome to come and check out the car or have it inspected.

is this the same car that was selling a few years ago for 13k?
farzad97m3
04-21-2006, 02:27 AM
yes. its the same car. When the car was purchased it had a crack in paint next to gas cap, which is fixed now on top of that my friend has spend more than 4k in maintenence. I think 16k is a reasonable, since there two other 95 s52 obd1 m3 going for 16k.
