It has NJ plates because I live in New Jersey and goto college in South Carolina.

VIN: WBABG1324TET00619
It has a clear carfax history. I have service records dating back to the original owner. Those papers are in NJ, and my father mailed them to me yesterday. When it arrives I'll scan the carfax and post it for yall to see. Any other questions feel free to ask.

Could the secondary air pump be put back to turn the check engine light off? I think that in north carolina (where i live) a car can not pass insepction, get a lisence plate, or transfer a title with the light on. I don't know for sure but thats just what my dad told me, but his information is getting slightly out dated.

This car will pass inspection no problem. I just passed NJ inspection 7 months ago with flying colors. What I did was reset the CEL wih a friends peake research tool. Since the secondary air pump is strictly emissions related (lowers emissions on colds starts, only on e36s '96 and up) just drive it around for 10-15 minutes before taking it to the inspection place. You will be fine.
About getting plates or transfering a title, not sure if thats correct or not. Its not the casein NJ thats for sure. Here

I can vouch for this car, since I am one of the previous owners.
It runs like a champ.
I still miss it.
Bump for an old friend.

I really miss this car. I replaced it with a VW Passat Wagon. The VW is a Total POS.
I think I'm going to ditch the wagon, and get a four door 328i.
Whoever buys this car won't regret it. M52 Power!

Hey, I was wondering if you had all the service records for your car? Also would you be willing to ship at the buyers expense? Thanks.

I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE!!!! ARUBA CIRCLE !!! *evil laugh* I see this car every other day and its in decent shape. Its crazy but there is at least one other montreal blue coupe with NJ plates in town, maybe even 2. Seems like every time I turn around I see blue bimmers with NJ plates. makes me sick. One was a pretty hott chick if I recall correctly.

Yep, right over there near the Mini Cooper/ original land rover place. Sorry to hear it man. Hopefully the insurance will pay up. What are you planning to buy now? Have you seen my bosses new m3-4 door? There are a few neighborhood m's for sale (wink wink)

yea its at turks, good eye
I'm planning on picking up a e34 535i 5spd. Charleston beats the hell out of cars, and I want a ride that is realiable and I wont flip out when someone slams a car door into it or backs into it (which happened at least once a week)

Just cause its an e34 doesn't mean you can abuse it!!!!! Those things clean up pretty nice, I actually looked at one before my car but just felt that it was a bit large and unsporting for my taste. Get a good deatail, some rims and suspension and it will be a fine ride. Might be semi-tough to find a good one in 5spd also. Good luck though man, I'll have to keep my eyes out for one parked outside your place. e30 would be my other choice, you can get them dirt cheap and they have so much potential, a truly satisfying bargain car in every sense.

Ok, wow, this was an old post, but I just saw a very nice 535i around your place. Grey, smoked tails, 18s, spoiler, surely more but it was dark. If that is your car I'd say you did pretty well for yourself. I'll have to check it out in the daylight

ya, thats the new ride. Its funny how things work out, I love this e34 loads more then the e36, its a compleatly different beast and its a blast to drive. Its at autometrics in west ashley right now, and when I pick it up tomorrow it should be good to go for a long time. Everything actually ended up working for the best.
