A friend is wanting to repaint his Mille Miglia MM11-2 wheels. I'm wanting to repaint my Racing Dynamics wheels the same color so we're going to split the cost of the paint. Does anyone know the proper paint code or any other naming convention so that we can get some paint mixed up for us?

Here's the wheel in question... It's a plasma/anthracite color similar to the color of the wheels on some late model G35 coupes.

Thanks!

I called the Tire Rack hoping they might be able to help, but the guy on the phone said they don't have it. Jim, can you pull some strings for us? :)

The owner of the wheels has an e-mail in to Mille Miglia. We'll see if they respond. Apparently, it will be very hard for a shop to do an analysis on the wheel to get the exact color due to the shape of the wheel. :(

Are you going to be repainting all 4 of them? You could just find another anthracite color that you can get the paint code for and spray them that color. Is there no other gunmetal shade you would prefer over those?

Im going to repaint all 4.. They have all turned different shades, which I don't know why?!

Tommy is planning on painting all 4 of his.

I wonder if heat from the front brakes has changed the paint color on them. Perhaps sometime along the line they've been swapped around front to rear and side to side so they've been on the front at different times?

possibly... although, when someone ran a stop sign and hit me, I had gotten that wheel replaced and it was darker then all the rest??!?

I'd also like to know if you come up with the paint code. One of mine needs refinishing. I sent an email to M.M. a while ago but no response.
