I have a set of TSW Fly 17x8 rims and they come with those aluminum concentric rings to fit snuggly in the center of the wheel hub. But I found out that every time it's a PITA when taking these rims off with the rings there. It seems that the soft aluminum material "glues" with the hub even after all the lugs are off. And this time at one wheel that damned ring simply stayed there even if the wheel is taken out. Took me another 30 minutes to pry the ring out.:mad :mad

I hate these rings. Or is it maybe it's because the inferior quality of the rims so that the size does not match 100%? Do you guys have similar problems?

flat head screw driver and a hammer...works all the time...just wedge the screwdriver between the hub and the ring...give it a few taps and it should slide right off...also dust it with some WD40

Coat anti seize around the hub, ring and inside or rim bore.

I like the anti seize myself. Just lube the hub and the ring and you should be good to go.
