let me first start by saying that i'm in no hurry whatsoever to sell the car, so please don't lowball me or waste any of mine or your time. i sold a subaru to get into the M3 and, while i've loved every single second of owning this car, i'm missing the tossability and just plain fun factor of the subbies.

so here's the info on the car.

100,800 miles on the chassis, 16,000 on a newly rebuilt motor. the motor was rebuilt due to the infamous oil nut backing out causing a loss in oil pressure.

The title is in hand and clear, no accidents or any other damage of any kind. I'm the 4th owner of the car; i purchased it back in february of 2004 and i've loved every single minute of owning the car. this car has had almost of the common maintenance mods done and just runs beautifully. it starts up every time, no smoking, no leaking of any kind. it runs perfectly and pulls very strong. i had all of the fluids in the car flushed and changed at 96k miles and the oil was recently changed again at 99k. there are absolutely no electrical or mechanical issues with this gem.

the paint on the car is original and still shines and shines. i've garaged the car everyday since i've owned it and i suspect it has been garaged its entire life, judging by the paint's condition. the car has the typical rock chips you'd expect from a 10 year old car and has two small dings, one above the passenger front fender and one above the passenger door where someone tried to jimmy my door open when it was broken into the second week of my ownership. the dings are very minor, though, and you'd be hard pressed to even notice them.

here are the mods:

- jim conforti euro intake kit, which consists of a 3.5" euro hfm, 24lb injectors, 3.5" carbon fiber intake with heatshield, and tuned chip to make it all run together
- eisenmann catback exhaust with connecting pipe
- uuc lightweight flywheel
- uuc short shift kit
- uuc red tranny mounts

- h&r race springs
- koni adjustables shocks
- x-brace
- ground control rear strut mounts
- powerflex rtabs

- ac schnitzer carbon fiber front lip replica, from Spencer's groupbuy
- uuc carbon fiber adjustable rear wing
- oem euro lights all around, though i currently have smoked corner lights
- dj auto ellipsoids

- RARE cloth interior and even more rare cloth vaders

- OEM M3 forged LTW wheels (the painted and stamped ones), 17x7.5" front, 17x8.5" rear

i also have a unichip that i was planning to install, so i'll throw that in also, if you want it.

looking to get $14,500 and i will not part out.

What color is the cloth? Grey or black?

shu

black...best mod in the car, in my opinion.

I didn't see a reply to my PM so I thought I would post the questions here.

Who rebuilt the motor? What all was replaced?

What clutch is in it with the upgraded flywheel, etc?

Please send pictures when you get them.

Thanks,

Grant

sorry, i was waiting to get the photos up before i replied.

i believe a shop called Harrison Motorsports in Jackson, MS rebuilt the motor. To be honest, I don't know what clutch is in the car, as it was installed by the previous owner, who also had the motor rebuilt.

pics added...so sorry for the crappy quality. apparently, my camera isn't fond of too much light. anyway, i'd be happy to reshoot these at another time if they don't suffice.

Sweet Ride.
So what exactly did they do during the rebuild?

never got a pm from ya...

i really don't know what was done during the rebuild, as it was done by the previous owner. the only documentation i have of the rebuild is a letter from the company through which the po purchased an extended warranty after buying the car. the letter states that the new engine is also covered under the warranty. apparently, the company paid for the work.

it appears that i may have already found my subaru (didn't expect to so quickly), so i'm now accepting reasonable offers on the car.

ttt...

getting a leakdown and compression test done this week, so hopefully, this will satisfy any worries about the condition of the engine.

I just had the compression test done, and she is very, very strong. Here are the numbers:

1 - 165
2 - 163
3 - 172
4 - 180
5 - 170
6 - 175

The lowest acceptable number would have been 150 and, as you can see, she's well above that.

Bump for a beautiful car.

OT: You said you were going to install the UniChip.
Do you know of any UniChip dealers/installers that can dyno tune the chip in your area?
*I need to find one to tune one for a s/c

the closest shop i know of is one in birmingham, called called HESCO. i was going to use them to install and tune it.

ben, hope you're enjoying the car! the subbie is great, though definitely not nearly as refined. take good care of her :)

Link doesn't work. I do like corrado's though and supercharged e30's are no slouch.
