sqbimmer, yes you are right, not m3 specific but coupe specific I believe. The part was the same on my old 325is. As long as the part is the same as in the pic, it is fine for me. is it from a 318is? can you mail me hi-res pics?

how much are you asking for it? If the price is ok, yes I am serious.

* is it exactly the same part? should have only 3 holes, 2 for window switches and 1 for hazard lights switch
* are the mounting tabs ok (ie. not torn or broken off)? Especially the ones at the bottom.
* what's the price? :)

How about $30 shipped? It is for a coupe, and has 2 holes in it. As far as mounting tabs are concerned, I just removed it the other day, and it is still connected to the lower part of the center console, so I would say the mounting parts are in good condition. :)

So lemme ask you, what exactly happened to your part that deemed it to be replaced? These things don't really go bad or anything.

well, mine; I moulded a 7" LCD onto it. so it can't be returned back to stock. I am selling my car and I don't want to keep anything aftermarket on it -since aftermarket goes for nothing-. if you can either fedex or usps priority that would be cool.

You got pics of the console with the LCD moulding? I may be interested in that as I was planning on doing that someday... Maybe we can work a trade where I pay shipping both ways? Lemme know since I have no center console in my car right now, and desperately want to get something in there and only wana do it once.

let me get a pic, but it is not very clean (not clean as in proper). I already ordered another case for the LCD, so I was planning to put LcD back into case, sell it separately and trash the shifter console.
