1995 BMW M3 *Cheap*

this is being listed for a friend local to me. NORTH CAROLINA


I've decided to sell my car and try and replace it with an E30. I think the repair bills and maintance will be a little cheaper, since I just bought my first house I need cheaper maintance bills I've had the car a little over a year and half, I am the second owner. The car originally came from Florida and now its here in NC. Here are the good and bad things with the car:

GOOD:
H&R Springs
Koni fully adjustable shocks
Dinan Chip comes with it but its never been installed
Polyurethane bushing
short shifter out of M Roadster
Clarion cd player with remote
Black on black
Vader seats
New window motor and regulator in driver side door
new headlights to replace old yellowish ones
M3 CSL lightweight wheels
tires have less than 5000 miles on them just replaced front passenger side tire 3 weeks ago, all the tires match
The engine had to be rebuilt due to a Money Shift so everything has been replaced except the pistons and rods

BAD:
Vanos needs to be replaced
Passenger side door needs adjusting its a little hard to open sometimes

the car has been throughly checked out by motorsport connections in winston about a month ago and the only thing they could find besides the vanos was there was a small leak in the windshield wiper fluid reservoir

I'm asking $9,500 obo

Everything in the motor has been replaced except pistons and rods at 133000 miles it has 152000 on it now

the car is in really good shape I hate getting rid of it but I really want an E30 and some extra money to go into my new house

Yea its courtney, I can't really trade unless someone wants to trade a E30 and give me cash also... I'm selling it because I need money for my new house and a E30 so a trade wouldn't be to logical for someone

as of right now it seems like i'll be having this car "when the dust settles on my end" because no one seems to be interested in it so it may be going on ebay here in the next week or so...

i've gotten a couple quotes from BMW specialist and they've said somewhere between $600-800 but if you can do it yourself the part isn't but about $250 so the price would be significantly less

its somewhat negotiable but not a whole lot, I just spent $5000 in it to rebuild the motor so i'm losing money at $9500... but if your really serious we can work something out..

hmmm everything? Valves, retainer; new head? Then why is the venos broken? Stock spec cams? Resurfaced? Why did the head need replacing? What is a "Money Shift" I"m seriously interested. But I'm pretty anal about the history of the car.

hmm... I did. You said everything minus the pistons and rods were replaced.. "Everything" on the motor includes the head. If the head wasnt replaced then you cant say everything.

1) Why was the head replaced?
