Wheels on my 06 550i

Okay I'm new on this forum and I just got a new black on black 2006 BMW 550i and they told me the stock wheels and tires are 18" 245/40 front and 275/35 rear with a lug pattern of 5 X 120...I want the biggest wheels I can put on it and it has to be black to match (chrome lip is okay)...everywhere I've been to they told be they have to custom make it and it will cost me aroung $8000-$14000... >.< WoW....can someone point me to a website that i can order to fit my application?

That's rediculous. There are plenty of wheels that would look smokin on your car (Hot Friggin Ride BTW! I love Black/black - it's what I have - and those 550s are just the isht!).

What style do you want? 5-spoke? Multi-spoke? Deep dish?

Mainly anything that can fit...a website...also I like multi spoked with a 1" ish outer chrome/polished lip.

20x8.5 and 20x10 all day on that car with 255.35.20 and 275.30.20.

if you want to go the custom routeL HRE, Iforged, DPE are also good brands to check out.

Any of these come in black...I checked out tirerack.com and I wanted the Zinik Z9 Sabini in black but they are out of stock...I also checked out the DPE and is the price for just one wheel?

eh, 20 is a little big for only 8.5" wide. I'd go 20x9.5 or 19x9.5 all around. They should fit that car, with the correct offset of course.

they mean that if u get a wheel as big and as tall looking as a 20'' one, then it being only 8.5'' in comparison will look wierd/strange/not right/wimpy/etc

Personally i would check out 19's adn really wide ones, because witih 20's the tires will looklike rubber bands, but with 19's i think it'll be a nice balance.

So I settled for some 20 X 8.5 front and 20 X 9.5 rear Stern ST-1 Face III Beast gloss black wheels...should be here tomorrow. 245/20 fronts and 275/20 rears.
