So the facts are CLEAR that the car wasn't going to sell for whatever the winning price was on Ebay? You were asking $8500 here. Not on Ebay. Yeah you should have put a reserve- or CANCELLED the auction and repost with a Reserve. And lets get the facts Straight! The first time I called I asked if I could take it out for a test drive and you said sure but the drive shaft is wrong. The 2nd time I called I asked when can I pick it up b/c I won the car for $6190, and thats when you said "I'm not selling it to you for that price, and that the drive shaft was being fixed and that cost you more money. Then I said "What Price will you sell it to me for"- Your Answer $8k. I said $I'll Give $7 and you said since you re-did the drive shaft you need at least $7500. Thats when I said I would think about it and see if I can get more $$$.

I then called back and said Forget it. I should get it ask the price I won. And I did say I wasn't going to pursue it and not leave you a neg feedback- but I starting getting really Pissed off b/c I stayed up till 5AM waiting for your auction to end and then when i found out I won, I then told a friend a mine that he could buy one of my other cars so I can replace it with this one. Then you backed out. THATS WRONG!!!

So Thats the whole story and just because I shared it with a few friends and they decided to post- that makes me a BABY? and a Fag? Hmmmm

Im not the one who backed out a Deal- EBAY-Legal Deal which Im not going to pursue-(Waste of My Time with you)

Im not the one who has to get the last word in trying to make me the bad guy calling me a Baby and Fag then CLOSING the thread.

so let me get this straight, m3rdpower puts his car on ebay and you are the highest bidder of the no reserve auction. Then he backs out of the deal and calls you a fag!!! Jackass.

This joker needs to be banned.

Won't sell you the car, doesn't understand how a no reserve auction works, and then resorts to name calling.

I've dealt personally with Mike as a customer, and I can assure you he's up front, easy to deal with, and NOT wrong on this matter.

Ebay has rules, and regulations, and if you try to sell or buy something on there, you're entering a contract.

This is plain terrible.

It is certainly not Mike's fault, and this guy should be given negative feedbacks for it...but unfortunately, retaliation can spoil Mike's rating as well.

The seller (with the white M3) posts his car up on the message boards for sale. Nobody was seriously interested in buying it, so he decides to put it on eBay to sell it there. After the auction runs it's full length, the seller decides..... "Hey, I want more money!! I am not selling it to the winner!!" This is total BS on the seller's part. He is wrong, and knows it. So NOW, the seller wants to bash the HIGH BIDDER??

Once again, I hope nobody buys this car. If the seller acts like this and cannot be trusted, it makes me question the car itself. I have seen some disasterous butcher hack conversions. I would assume this is one of them.

I'll chime in too since the last thread was prematurely closed. Both my friend and I bid on the car feeling a little nervous that something like this would happen. I figured a no reserve ebay auction is the last ditch effort to get rid of a car that no one wants to pay your asking price on. What was he trying to achieve out of listing it on ebay and not fullfilling his end? Who knows? I think your lucky you didnt end up with the car and it also exposed the type of person M3rdpower is. He has succesfully made my blocked ebay list and sent a red flag to the rest of the online forum communities.

Are you having trouble understanding that he is the high bidder of the auction and you are obligated to sell it to the highest bidder? You're a lost soul, put simply

have you ever seen a seller at Barrett Jackson back out after their car was sold? that's not how things work...

Please explain this TRUTH. Nevermind I think I got it, he offered a lower price to you outside of ebay which you turned down. Then when he won the auction for lower then you wanted you reneged!!!

You are not a bigger person for not giving him negative feedback. He did nothing to warrant negative feedback. Stop trying to rationalize your bad behavior.

wow. this is pathetic. if you wanted to get $8500 out of your car, you should have put a reserve for $8500. if you felt that the price wouldnt get up as high as you though, you should have pulled the auction before it ended (which is legal within ebays contract). you gambled at trying to get what you WANTED to sell the car for, and you lost the gamble.

ps- that car isnt worth $8500.
