As much I love this car, its been a royal pain this week. First I get a check engine light, turns out its an oxygen sensor. Not a big deal I think, buy the sensor, go to change it and find the oxygen sensor is located in the tightest of spots you can imagine. Above the exhaust before the cats and under the drive shaft. So then I had to search for a crowfoot design tool to remove it. After two days I found one and it was done.

Next day. I get in my car and smell gas. I figure I had topped it off too much or something. Nope, the smell just got stronger and I soon had a headache driving to work. Of course I also smelled like gas at work. Get back home and trace the smell to the back seat. I took the back seat off and found that the fuel pump has 4 inches of gas sitting on top of it. Turns out a hose had popped off. Fixed it with a $2 clamp, and then spent the rest of the evening detailing the inside of my car to get rid of the gas smell.

Friday. I start the car and hear a belt whine. @#@$!!!!! At this point you can imagine how pissed I'm starting to get. The main belt is slipping and needs to be replaced. So I just finished that this weekend. I'm praying I won't have any more issues this month. Most of the stuff was regular maintenance stuff (minus the hose popping off the fuel pump), so I can't complain, but it all happened in a week. Not fun. :(

At least your not doing RSM's, RTAB's, a new tranny,.. EXHAUST HANGER ugh.. That sucks but at least its not serious stuff, just minor things.

Good luck!

Better to have this happen at home rather than out on a trip ;) But yeah, sucks having stuff pile up. Happens though lol

You know what they say,
"when it rains, it pours."

Well, I had whining noise from a belt, but I traced it to coolant leaking from radiator... 368 euros + install... :(

Yea neither are e46 m3 side grills. ;)

I was just venting, I wouldn't dream of getting rid of the car despite the headaches. The torn rear shock mount was the fun I had last month. :)
