I am now looking into getting my broken wheel fixed. Wheels America wants to see some pictures of it to see if they can fix it. If they can fix it, it will cost $109.

Wheel Collision Center has the whell I need and it is going to end up costing about $285 all together.

Have any of you guys seen their work? They both advertise in Roundel.

Thanks.

I had Wheel Collision Center fix four of my rims after I had a close encounter with a curb. The wheels were slightly bent (they rated the bends at a 1 out of 7, 7 being the worst bend possible to fix) and one had a small gouge taken out of it. The wheels came back looking absolutely perfect and balanced out fine. IIRC, I paid something like $110 per wheel about two years ago.

The only thing I've noticed about the repaired wheels is that they are more prone to chipping, in particular around the lug bolt holes. I'm pretty sure that this is going to be a common characteristic to all refinished wheels.

Overall, I'm very happy with the repaired wheels.
