ABS light came on...

Just started the car up to back it out so i could wash it, and the ABS light wont go out. I shut it off and started it back up, and its still on. Repeated, still on (I did this because one time it came on, but then I just shut it off and it went out).

Anyone know what problems can arrise from this? I MUST drive my car tonight.

Probably just a wheel speed sensor. You can drive the car but you won't have ABS or ASC. Only way to tell exactly is to have the dealer scan it (they have a special tool).

Yea, interesting. I searched the forums a little bit, and most posts involved the ASC and ABS together, which at the time didnt apply to me since only the ABS light wouldnt go out. Then I drove around, turned off my traction control, then attempted to turn it back on and it wouldnt.

So I reach my destination, and after I had parked it for about 3 minutes, I got back in and started it up, and both lights turned off and the car ran fine. Traction control turns on and off normally.

Anyone know what caused this? I've driven the car on and off for a day now without return of the lights. Just fluke? Or maybe a bad relay switch or something along those lines?
