Mini Chasis Codes???

If you read my other thread, you'll note that I'm just getting into the dirty details of these cars since my gf just put a down payment on one. I wanted to see if realoem.com had a list of Mini parts and they do! Can someone enlighten my on what each designation stands for? R50, R53, and R52. My guess without digging around the database is: One, Cooper S, and Cooper successively. Thanks for the input! Maybe we can start getting the Mini forum as hoppin as the other BMW sections one of these days!

R50 - Cooper/One
R52 - Convertible
R53 - Cooper S

Thanks for the links. I did spend a bit of time on mini2 the other day browsing their faq but didn't check out that part of it. It is a good site indeed.
