Anyone done an electric engine fan swap with the E34 ? Particularly the 540. I am thinking of doing this, but would like to hear any downsides, or if anyone could recommend a prefab kit ?

Ya, I have been all over that site before. Most of the stuff is for the 6 bangers. Seems the fan mod is too.
I have seen somewhere details on the V8 conversion, and there is more to it than just bolting on a fan and thermostat.
