Latest from MINI is I will either get my Cooper S as a replacement or I'll get a refund of my money and I'll have to buy the S. No real difference, just how MINI wants to handle the transaction. If they give me an S as a replacement, they owe my dealer an extra S, and they are hard to come by.
My quandry is what color to get. There are wo I'm thinking of, all Dark Silver or all Chili Red. Both have the space cloth, DS has multi function wheel, auto ac and heated seats. CR has 17s, fogs and DSC. Or do I wait for the 03 model and get an extra remote key for the extra $125. Decisions, decisions!
