Tire Patch

A friend of mine just had his tire patched on his Jeep Cherokee after a nail penetrated it during some "off roading".

Does anyone know what these patches are speed rated too??:dunno

All "patched" tires lose their speed rating.

IMO a patch is like a bandaid, ie: temporary.

He should probably take it easy on the "off roading" unless he enjoys surprises and walking. ;)
