hey eff - who are you going to have do the replacement, and do you know what it's gonna run you? My driver's seat heater doesn't work, but I haven't fixed it due to the cost of having someone do the labor on it.

If you do get these, please lemme know the approximate price. I need to throw at least a driver's seat heater in my car :D

Hah - I'm about to jack the parts out of the passenger seat..

It's bruital in the morning before the car warms up, seats warmed up way faster. I miss mine. :(

I'm curious about this as well. My driver's seat burnt out several years ago, but I don't know how to access to change it out.

Each element costs about $80. There are 2 per seat. One in the ass and one on the lower back.

You need like 75 new D-rings for each seat too and 2 new "bee stingers"(plastic clip) It's not difficult labor but it is time intensive. I retrofitted them to my cloth vaders and it takes about 2-3 hrs per seat. The seat needs to come out of the car and skin needs to be removed from the foam.

absolute pain in the ass. I just replaced my passenger side seat back heating element.

Things I learned:

fingers hurt afterwards....but instead of d rings, use small zip ties...works like a charm

The only thing is that I have to redo it because the leather doesn't sit tight like it did...I have to do a better job stretching it to make sure everything is flush.
