thank u fill the blanks, no thank u pollutant to the board. another reason i ask is i saw this performance built cooper, the fastest rare model u can get....if u can even get it, i saw it going crazy on the track and it looked like the back end was flippin out so.......it made me wonder. anywho.....fwd kicks butt too, no spinning out or a nervous rear wheels.

The New ones are definitely fwd. Kind of disappointed me, but one of my friends was talking to me and he said it was the only untuned street car he could make a 90 degree turn in at 50 mph without being scared. Keep in mind, we we're referring to cars we could afford as college students.

One time, when I was looking into the tuning potential of the new minis, I came accross a track car for some racing company. Ends up they actually swapped in an e36 M3 engine and converted it to RWD. Never really read to much into it, as that wasn't my cup of tea at the time. But you should probably search around on the net, I'm sure you could find a few RWD conversions that have been done.
