Promised some pics when I saw this again.....temp has been dropping in SoCal. Pulled into work yesterday, as I was buttoning up the car, putting on the badge, listening to the last Zep song.....I stepped out and saw the car was quickly getting condensation over all the top surfaces. Trunk, Wing, Hood, Windows.....but of course the still very warm engine bay (35m drive at mostly 75mph speeds on early freeway commute) keeps the Hood bone dry, except for the little square over the AA CAI box. Engine heat stays where it belongs.....away from the intake! :D
2nd time I've seen this since I got the car...with cooler temps coming I expect to see it more often. Pretty cool! :D
Note, pics taken with my Moto V551 phone...so not steller but you'll get the idea.

I just don't see it. Your car seems to be really dry to me anyways. Then again you took those with your cell.

Heh, thats a pretty cool idea for marketing, but I dont see it either. I mean I kind of see a little haze, but its all over.
Better camera maybe?

The hood is shiny except for the hazy front l/h corner...that's condensation from the temp drop. It's easy to see in 2 of the pics. It's a about 12"x12" hazy looking area. The shadows make it tough for the phone camera to pick up, but the entire hood is actually shiny and dry...except for that small blanket of condensation...The Hood was just shot with Mequires Quick Detailer the night before so it's quite clean and shiny.....but the sun is just coming up and the phone cant create much detail out of the shadow area..making some of the hood look dull and somewhat matching the condensation square if you don't look closely....

I kinda see a little square of condensation, that's pretty impressive heat sheilding:)
