Here's a question... do we get some kind of discounts by being BF members, or do we just get a link to the Tire Rack web site? :redspot

I think it would be pretty hard for Tire Rack to give discounts on their already good prices. I have seen the prices that jobbers (auto shops...) get from TR and it is only a few dollars cheaper.

Yeah, it's hard to beat the TR prices....
I priced my Michelins (TR vs. Sears (LOL!!)) and it was about $30 tire difference!!
Then Sears charges for every little thing on installation (including wheel weights...:rolleyes ).

the only reason to ever get tires from sears is if you cant afford to NOT put it on your sears card and pay it off slowly. but Americas Tire Co. has financing so another reason not to.

I believe tirerack has financing available, and yes, tirerack doesn't need a discount because they are already lower than everyone else.
If you add in shipping and the fact that some shops charge more to mount tires that you didn't buy from them, then TireRack isn't always the cheapest. I've gotten tires cheaper from a local store out the door than what I could have gotten from TireRack + shipping + non-inflated mounting charges.

Must be cheap where you live. No one can touch tirerack even when shipping/install is factored in here.

The link just gives a portion of your purchase to BFC.
And like others have said, they have competitive prices.

I was comparison shopping (just for the laugh).
