Shit, that is cheap.
One question though, isnt the e60 m5 a 7speed smg box?

Yes, but that's a e39 m5 engine - the v8; probably with some goodies to get it to 500 hp.

The lights remind me of an E46

Does an m5 engine fit in an m3? Or did he have to mess with it? I know nothing about the matter.

It fits in E46's, probably with a bit of fiddling.
The M60 fits in the E36 with a heck of alot of fiddling, the S62 however from what I have been told doesnt fit at all

Imagine a 318 with the s62 :devillook
It's interesting but I would just buy an m5 :dunno, plus the owner seems a little iffy with that description.

I've seen an e39 m5 motor in an e30....that would beat all.

I think its a scam
If you are going to be selling a car for $30k+, dont you think it would be worth while (assuming you dont know english well) to maybe find someone who does to write it?
And why are 1/2 the pictures like taken with the lights off? Those pics suck balls, I have seen ricer hondas with better pictures than that.
Must be a effed up e36 body with a plastic motor in it, I bet its a scam. No one in their right mind would sell a car like that and just manhandle the auction so badly.

Methinks the lady doth protest too much...
But anyway, those in the market for such a car are probably in Europe anyway and will drive out to inspect it in person. There ARE other methods of communication other than via an Internet browser you know.

S62 fits, but takes of most of the bay, so accessories need to be relocated as well as the front subframe needs to be modified to accommodate extra height. It's been done though. My friend has been quoted 16K by a local shop to do this to his E36 M3 with a complete donor drivetrain swap from an E39 M5. E46 engine bay is smaller than that of an E36, and the E90 one is smaller still.
Side note: E90 engine bays look like Toyota engine bays, it's really sad.

I wish someone would document the build of the S62 in a E36, I've hunted alot but never found pics :(
It can be done, I saw a E36 M3 with GTR kit and a S62 last year in a local shop here, where they maintain racecars for certain teams.

Usually shops do it, and posting the procedure and pics would cut into their future business, so it's kind of a closely guarded secret.
The best way to learn is to just do it and work the kinks out along the way.
