18x10 with et25 how far will it stick out from the fenders?? 2"??
How much flare will I need to run that up front? How far will it stick out front and rear?
Ps I will be running 295/30/18 tires all around so please keep that in mind with how far it will stick out?
Will it rub on the inside?

well, you are going to have to about take your fenders off. I do not think you can roll them and flair them that much...... widebody maybe??
My fenders have been rolled and flaired pretty much to their max and i run 18x8.5 with et 35 currently and probably only have room for 3/4" more. Give me a sec and i will post up a pic

I dont know man. Maybe stretching 235 series tires across the 10" wheel and installing bump stops to raise it up a bit ( i dont know if it is lowered or not )
My best advice is post up your stock measurements from the hub to the lip of the fender and i can go measure mine to give you a close idea

well then with a widebody, you should have no problems! Those are pretty much a 5 series fitment and that is what most people with e36 widebodys run for a wheel is a e34/e39 spec wheel.
Good Luck. Post up if you want to compare measurements.

Hey, question for ya. Do you ever rub on the fender liner in the front?

So how far will it stick out?
well without measuring, here is how i see it.
I run 18x8.5 et35 all around with some very flaired fenders (see above pic) and i clear about 3/4 - 1 inch on the inside.
You want to run 18x10 with an et of 25
10MM ~ .4 or 3/8 of an inch + 1.5 inches in the wheel = almost 2 full inches
You will def. be out from underneath the fender rim. I am pretty much as low as you can go though with h&r race and konis adjusted soft so it sits lower. ( granted i know coilovers can go lower )
If you flaired your fenders as much as mine, ran really stretched tires until you go widebody.... you could proably pull it off. I would add bump stops in the spring to reduce spring travel so you dont cut up a tire.
It is all up to you, if you have the choice wait until you go widebody or else like said above, you will have to run very stretched tires. IE 225 over a 10" rim so you dont rub the tire.

Here's the lowdown from experience...
Here's my car with 17x9 et8 for reference... Your outer edge of the rim will stick out 4mm less than mine. The car in this photo is wearing 215-40-17 rear tires which are undersized for a reason - to make the fitment work. With that offset, I'd recommend something like 245-35-18 stretched to make it possible. Also, forget about doing this if your fenders aren't at least as flared as mine are in this shot. This was with H&R Race/Bilstein Sport and 15mm rear spring pads and the bumper plastic liner had to be cut in some places. Sadly, with that offset in 10", you will never be able to fit 295/30-18 without serious flaring, or going widebody. 245/35-18 would be absolute max, and even that is a big if... 245/30-18 would fit for sure.
Look at http://www.felgen-man.de/clause36.html for his tire specifics, he has a similar setup in the rear :)

Nah, you can flare more. See www.rikersport.com/328 :) For reference, those wheels are 18x8 ET33 w/ 255/35-18 Potenza RE040.

I investigated this extensively actually just in the last week. Wanting to put 18x9.5 et24mm on my car. I am going widebody in Spring but I wanted to get them now and see if flaring would be enough - I didn't want to stretch the tire either. At that offset you would be about 2" past the fender line... if you flared the fenders about as much as you could you would still be about 1" past the fender. Widebody is required unless you want to stretch your tires like HOOJ showed and also do extensive other things to make sure they do not make contact with the fender/lining/anything else for that matter.

Nice pics! Did he heat up the paint quite a bit before commencing the flare? Can you rent that tool? In the past I've resorted to the baseball bat method... :D

Yup - E39 is et20mm for 8"/8.5" width and et24mm for 9.5" width.

Mine are rolled more than yours. Your fenders have more flair out. My fenders inside are rolled almost flat and i too have cut some plastic out from the inside for a future project that is on going.......

I will be using a WIDEBODY
so 2" in the rear
what about the front?

HE is me, and this was done at like 6pm in 85F weather with no heat gun or anything... the paint was fine, no cracking, no issues. Original BMW paint is really amazing.
I bought my tool, it's $300 at TireRack, they don't rent it anymore, but used to for $75. :(
Don't use a baseball bat, it will be uneven :(

Nah, I saw your pics. No way are yours rolled more than mine. Mine are 100% flat inside, glued to the inside of the fender practically, and then the whole thing is flared out 1.5" in the back, 1" in the front... you can do it too, that TireRack tool is great :)

LOL I would never use a baseball bat now! I did it one time on the car I used to have because I only needed a little roll.

Which widebody are you going to use? The 18x10 et25 is huge. The attached pic is an 18x10 et25 with a 280/650 slick on it. Look how far the tire sits out from the side skirt...

Looks like that tire needs an 11" rim, it's so pinched. :stickoutt
Is that your car? Give more info/pics.

Original poster, your tire size should be 275 width maximum. 295s are unwarranted and too big, especially for the front. They will add excessive rolling resistance and weight and dull turn-in.
18x9s will fit anything from a 245 to a 275 nicely and allow you to fit as much rubber as you need. I must ask you to question your wheel sizing; it may look "tough" but it'll also be extremely heavy and hard to fit.
Enough proselytizing, but remember that the "bigger is better" notion only goes so far.
