Tire and Wheel Help

I just had a set of wheel and tires put on my 91 525i today the rims are 17x8.5 offset is ET 20 The tires are 225/45/17 that I had on my other car. The problem im having is first the front rims are touching the strut it seem and there is a wicked vibration in the front. Am I running the right size tire or should I try a new set of tires. Also my car is lowered using bavauto springs and bilstein sport shocks

If your rim is really rubbing on the strut - as you say - park the car until you fix it! It must be noisy! You are an accident waiting to happen!
You either have the wrong offset or you need spacers or something.
