As the title states, the paint has begun to flake on my OEM LTWs. My brother works at a shop that does powdercoating, but since this car will see the track I don't want to compromise the integrity of the wheels. I want to keep a near-OEM look; I considered painting them black, but I've decided I like the polished silver look. I need advice on how to get them painted without breaking the bank(I'm 16, thus I'm poor).
Just to throw it out there...I'd gladly trade my wheels for a set of K1s, if anyone's interested. I don't really like the stagger.

Any wheel repair shop can repaint them... or you can just do a couple searches in this forum to find some guys who painted their wheels themselves.
. . .or you could have them polished.

I just polished the part of the lip where the paint has flaked off and that's definitely the finish I'm looking for. Thanks for your help.
I'll trade you a set of K1's for them.

RI as in Rhode Island? Shipping might be kinda expensive, but if you can figure something out, I'm down.
Shipping won't be bad up to you
If you polish the lip only, they will look something like this

That's the look I'm going for. Assuming you did the job yourself, how did you strip the paint?
