who wants to have a "get together" in san diego...

I've been here on this board for about a year now off and on, and I was thinking...I don't know anyone really...I mean I know OF people but haven't met them face to face. I think it'll be cool if we have some sort of get together at a beach or something this weekend...For us San Diego guys, even some of you LA people might want to come. This is just a feeler...I was thinking something real chill...everyone bring their own chips, sodas/beers, maybe a football or soccer ball, surfboards/bodyboards, and just hang out for a couple of hours and get to know people..What do you guys think...Nothing fancy just imagine it as if one of your friends called you and said "wanna go to the beach in an hour"? Just wondering

I'm done for it but this weekend's bad - SDBMWCCA autocross Saturday, SCCA autocross Sunday and Drag Legal Friday night :)

Maybe a Sunday evening bbq and bonfire might be a cool idea?

basically, this friday (the 6th) is the qualcomm legal drag races at 5:00 in the afternoon. it's a 1/8 rather than the 1/4.

from my experience... a little bit of both. i didn't see any flashing, maybe there will be some this time around and they pretty much just sit there and look pretty. which is fine with me anyways. again, this was my experience.

it looks like my chances of going to the drags are getting better. i should be there around 5-6. to watch only. if you guys want to meet up and roll together, let me know.
