mini cooper tire recommendations?

Looking for my gf's mini... will most likely go with 205/50/16 as a replacement for the original 195/55/16's. I've had the es100's and Kumho ecsta 712's on my e36 m3/2, but didn't love either. looking in the ~100 price range per tire. TIA, happy holidays.

I had 18" Yokohama Parada Spec 2s on my MCS and loved them.

In that price range take a look at the Avon Tech M500 at 83.00 per tire. They will have better ride quality and performance than the OE tires and the other tires you have driven on. If you need the tire to handle some snow you can look at the Kumho ASX at 75.00 each.
