What shocks do I have?

hey im trying to figure out what shocks i have

the seller told me the car had Korman suspension and i think that it uses bilsteins, (the shocks are yellow), my confusion comes in the form of the upper shock mount, the top strut nut is pulled back from the center to give more caster, i.e. its not in the center of the tower. the bilstein HDs that i had on my 325 left the nut right in the center. do bilsteins for m3s have this offset caster built in or do i have some other shock? thanks

All m3's have this offset even from its stock form. It is normal.

Just about any strut uses the stock strut bearings, which on a 95 M3 are offset to the back.

the upper mount is independant of the strut. its a different part. sounds like you have koni sa's (koni yellows).

the sounds like you have koni sa's (koni yellows).Bilsteins are also yellow.
