I have a 1995 325i, Modificaitons below and i get about 320miles to the FULL tank. I was wondering is this NORMAL? So lets start the POST your e36 Year/Model and your MILES on a full tank of gas!
I've never really ran the car much lower than 1/4-1/8th of a tank (by the guage at least). I usually get more than 320 to 3/4ths of a tank.

If im lucky when my tanks is almost empty I can get almost 400 miles out of mine. I feel like I get shit milage though compared to a lot ofppl on here and I dont know why. I get about 24-25 mpg avg between freeway and town. On the freeway at bout 85 I get about 25-26 mpg. :( I used to think my car got better milage but its not now thats for sure.
On the freeway I get well over 30, up to 35. Which is some consolation for being so down on power and cylinders . . .
But not much.

Whats the average miles on a full tank? I think for a 325i, 320miles on average is SHIT. 318's well of cours eget more miles. I used to get almost 400 until suspension/exhaust/staggered rims all came into place.
318's have smaller tanks, yes?

I can guarantee you wouldn't miss Tracy. Though if you live just outside of it as I do, it's not so bad :stickoutt, It is definately good to have rain. With my crappy Khumos, WOT over 4k gets me wheelspin in the rain, and when you're driving a 4 cyl, wheelspin under any condition brings a teary eye. Plus, you retain that much more tread for the same amount of fun :devillook

:lol yeah I can imagine. Thats the funniest thing ive heard all night. Yeah I dropped it in second a bit hard coming onto the five after getting gas down by andersons PEA soup and was shocked that my rear end broke lose. Was like oh yeah its raining pretty good up here. Born and raised in the napa valley so I guess thats why I miss it. How far out of tracy do you live?

doesnt Tracy have a terrible smell?
I'm literally on the southernmost street in the city. About 2 miles north of highway 580. It takes like 10 minutes to get to a gas station or a grocery store :rolleyes
But it's also quiet :)
SoCal to St. Helena . . . what a drive. Highway 5 really needs to become an autobahn.

The area near the sugar plant does. The one right off of the highway. Although it's pretty much gone now.

I got 504 miles on a tank last summer cruising to the beach, by myself at 72-73ish MPH. Now that I have my cams and s/w, I'm luck to break 400 lol :eyecrazy

I feel your pain after I changed my rear end from the 293 to the 315 my milage went down a bit and im doing well to break 400 as well. I have to keep my foot out of it for the whole tank and keep her around 70 on the freeway for the best milage. Its painful and hard to keep the self control :)
70MPH? Gas will never be expensive enough to hold me at 70 ;)

I havent had the oppurtunity to check a full tank, but a 3/4 gets me like 280ish.
P.S. You guys are a riot!

Yeah your diving a four banger though :D ass hole :D j/k I barely get 30 mpg at 70 :( Your right though its hard to keep it at 70 but 45 bucks a tank starts to add up and go quick, so I just try to keep my foot out of it and save a bit :D Professional school is expensive man.

300 miles at 14 gallons w/ 42 lbs injectors when I had a 3.15.

Geez do the bigger injectors help power quite a bit?

when tuned properly, yes. remember, I'm running 13 psi of boost on a 3.2L motor.
with the same 3.15, I was only getting 280 miles per tank when NA.

I have a tms chip and ecis intake on my 325is. I drive 30 miles each way M-F for work. I average between 27-31 mpg. Have gotten closen to 420 miles before fuel warning light comes on if I really dog it. Snow tires hurt me.
