I got the 3 screws out and feel like I have popped all the clips loose but I am getting resistance around the location of the airbag in the door.
Do I just yank it hard or is there something I'm missing?

I think you need to pry out the small piece that says "airbag" and see if there's something behind it...

How hard was it to take the panels off ?

Taking the panels off is fairly easy. Use a small plastic putty knife to pry away from door near each clip location. I havent broken any plastic clips yet.

Im doig this next weekend. Do you need to remove the door handle first? Where are the three screws? I guess 4 with one behind the airbag tag

3, IIRC.

One behind the airbag tag, two under the handle. You have to pry off the mirror control too.

On the pass. side, there is another one inside the handle itself.
