is there a need for a heatshield when using the cosmos cai? just wondering since it goes further down by the brake duct.
can the pipe on the cosmos cai be shortened some? im afraid of hydrolock.

If youve ever seen the dinan CAI, you can fabricate a heatshield like that one has. Though you dont really need it though, depending on how far down you run your intake

Ideally having a Dinan style heat sheild (triangle shape) which blocks off the top portion of the engine from the filter is the best.

a heatshield with the cosmos v1 isn't even necessary.
