Question about storing tires?

I just installed snow tires. Is there anything special that needs to be done to store the performance tires for the winter?

I wrap mine in plastic to try to keep them dry. I also try to keep them off the ground.
If i had a set of wheel covers i would use those instead.

Do you need to worry about moisture? Angle of placement? And how long can you store tires?

Im curious because Im storing my track wheel setup in a shed in Oregon (where theres a lot of moisture).

since i have 2 sets of rims (winter and normal), during the winter i just wrap each wheel in a garbage bag and stack them in my garage
