I drive about a mile and my car starts to pull a lot to the right. A second later I take a corner and my back end just slides out. I pull over and I got a flat. The rim doesnt look like it touched the ground no road rash or anything. I cant find anything... no nail, or holes, rips, or anything. To me it looks like the valve stem went bad and tire lost air. I drove the car at 11 AM and it was fine. At 7 ish PM its 35 degrees out, tire preasure about 33 psi and I get the flat.. What you guys things happend? My wheels are used volk te37's with the valve stem that is screwed on with a nut from the top. When I had my tires put on it the shop didnt say anything about bent wheels. What you guys think happend? Bad wheels or stem or something else? Ive had the wheels for three weeks and everything has been fine. I was driving completely normal too. Thanks.

Hey Serge,

I wouldnt think bent rim, because it would have vibrated like a bitch. When the shop put the tire on did they use enough lubricant on the bead? If they put the tire on the bead semi dry, it may pop off. I have seen that happen before.

Once again lube is your friend :) I have no idea how much they lubed it. Im going to go to them first tomorrow morning. They will have a very happy costumer :mad . I was also thinking that it would shake but the wheel is in the rear so you never know. Ive had unbalanced tires before in the rear on my old 5er, and when I rotated the wheels to the front it vibrated crazy. But Im going to go ahead and pretend that it ever happend and pray nothing is bent. Ill take your word Steve, thanks.

Hmmm, they will normally tell you if the rim is bent, or they'll load up weights on one side.

let us know how it turns out.

Thanks! That was the only pic I had to put on there. I should have put one of the funnier car ones, but it's on a chick ;)
