Check out my ebay auctions, other than that you will be hard pressed to find information on them. Dinan barely remembers making stuff that long ago, I know I tried calling and asking them.

You are the one selling this stuff so shouldn't you provide some info on it ?
Where did you get these from ? And new...?

I provided all the information I have on them. I have them because I got them as part of a kit that included more than one. Because you only need one I am selling the others. And yes, they are new.

How does this work and what does it look like? Is this similar to a Split Second?

Split Second units are voltage clamps which will not allow the HFM to see past whatever voltage you set it at. These Dinan components are scalers which reduce the voltage reading by a certain percentage. Either unit you will have to splice inline with the HFM signal, power , ground wires.

Dunno about the 4, but the 5 appears to not touch the MAF signal at all. Its a boost enrichment box that does its thing via the coolant temp sensor signal to the ECU.

What software is used to tune these? I have a Dinan Turbonetics box in my E30 which I REALLY want to get into and tune.

im sure on the Dinan 4 box, when i pulled mine out but im not sure on the 5 (my setup didnt have a 5 unit). Sounds logical for the case of a boost bump, but the 4 is required for the MAF.5 unit)

Hi, forum rules, but could you post your final asking price if you're going to post an eBay link with the sale? Thanks.

I have no idea what they are worth, thus the reason I put them on ebay. If I am breaking forum rules by not posting this then go to this thread....http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?p=5501649

Split Second has both voltage clamps and scalers. As well as other trick hardware for tuning. Just FYI.:)
