Im Currently looking at buying a 1992' bmw 325i
-black,
-black leather, 115miles,5spd,fully loaded.---1 owner., all service records.
-excellent shape.
Is 5900 US firm/ 6800cdn a pretty good price?, average, or high?
- I live near vancouver, and the majority of prices for this age of e36/condition is usually around 7500-9000.CDN.
Would like to hear what you think, should I buy it?:eyecrazy

thats right. the place I got my car (1994 325i with 169k) from at the same time had a 1992 325i with 112k. naturally I wanted it a little more then my car (although my car is a much better color, the other was blue-gray whatever, and my car has vanos so it has a better torque curve) but someone else offered $6500 and naturally I was not about to pay that...
I think that 5900 is reasonable. maybe offer 5500.

For that much money, it should be near perfect. It's a 13-year-old car and old cars aren't worth much. Does the A/C work? Is the front end still tight? Is it COMPLETELY free of rust and accident damage (check the floors carefully)? If the answer is "no" to any of these questions, knock at least $2k off the price.

5900 US is kind of high here in the US. However, I'm not sure about your canadian prices. I think your prices are higher than here in the US.

I agree. I bought a 1993 325i white four dour with a 5-speed that is flawless about 2-months ago. Not a scratch, tear, scuff or anything. It was traded in by the original owner to the same dealer they bought it from. Price was $4200 AT A DEALER! I added the wheels off of an E46 and tinted the windows (to protect my pale kids!):

In America, $5900 would be pretty high.

I paid $4200 for my 1994 325is black on black w/108k miles in August, so yeah, that is pretty high.
